On Thursday, February 10, 2022, the Minister of Hydraulics began a tour in the north of Côte d'Ivoire.
The town of Touroni, in the department of Odienné, was the starting point for these actions with social range.
Minister Laurent Tchagba, along with the Governor Minister of the DEMÉGUELÉ district district, Mr. Gaoussou TOURE, Director General of ONEP, Ibrahima Berte and several administrative and customary authorities, made a water tower available to populations 30 m3.
The work to carry out this work consisted in the equipment and connection of a positive drilling of 4m3/h, the supply and installation of 3km of pipes for the distribution of water. At an overall cost of 225,371,000 CFA fund funded by the Treasury, this water tower will guarantee access to drinking water of more than 2,500 inhabitants until 2033.
