Launch of works on the water tower of Abobo-Avocatier, the Prime Minister asks the actors involved to execute the works within the time limits

The Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly proceeded this Thursday, December 12, 2019 to the laying of the first stone of the construction works and equipment of a water tower of 5000m3 on a tower of 30m in Abobo -Avocatier within the town hall of Abobo.

These works, the cost of which is estimated at 5.250 billion CFA francs, are part of the Ivory Coast / Spain debt conversion program. The total amount of this program is 14, 615 billion FCFA.

The whole of this program, entirely devoted to the commune of Abobo, will allow the improvement of drinking water supply in the commune of Abobo.

The head of government asked the various players in the project to respect the execution deadlines according to the specifications.

The Minister of Supervision Laurent TCHAGBA, Minister of Hydraulics noted that these works will have a positive impact because they will serve the entire population of Abobo.

According to the Spanish Ambassador His Excellency Ricardo Lopez, this partnership is the fruit of good cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and Spain.

It is also the birth of several partnerships.

The first Magistrate of the Municipality, Mayor Hamed Bakayoko, expressed his gratitude for the choice made for his municipality.

This ceremony saw the presence of two (2) other members of the government, Mrs. Kandia CAMARA, Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, and Mr. DANHO Paulin, Minister of Sports.
