From November 8 to 10, 2018, the 3rd edition of the Abidjan Infrastructure Fair (SIA) was held. This show is a major international meeting platform between construction professionals in the capital of Abidjan. ONEP was once again present at this meeting which is held every two years, the office took advantage of this meeting to present its missions and its achievements through an exhibition stand and a presentation of its first Responsible Mr. BERTE Ibrahiman who spoke to the participants about business opportunities in the drinking water sector in Côte d'Ivoire. During his presentation, he recalled that to ensure the sustainable supply of drinking water to the populations, the investment needs are estimated at 1337 billion CFA francs for the period 2017-2020 whose:
- 30% are acquired
- 70% to search
To therefore implement all the structuring drinking water supply projects, it takes 940 billion. The call is therefore made to public and private partners to support the actions undertaken by the Ivorian government to achieve a 95% water access rate in Côte d'Ivoire by 2020.
