On Friday, July 19, 2019, the inauguration ceremony of the drinking water reinforcement system of the city of Tafiré and surrounding localities was held, under the High Patronage of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Minister of the Budget and Portfolio of the state, Amadou GON COULIBALY and the effective presence of the Minister of Hydraulics Laurent TCHAGBA.This project is part of the "Water for All" Program.
The said ceremony took place in the presence of the President of EBID, BOAD, the Managing Director of Onep, the Managing Director of Sodeci, the Managing Director of Bnetd, the representative of the Managing Director of Franzetti, the Prefectural body, the executives and population of said village.
This first stage gave the top of the launch of the inauguration burst on the extent of the territory. It was marked by the opening of the pump of Tafiré by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Minister of the Budget and the Portfolio of the State, under the gaze of the population who demonstrated their joy at seeing the water flowing in their pump.
It should be noted that with a production of 72m3/day the project to strengthen the drinking water supply system of Tafiré, Badikaha, and N'golodougou, at a cost of 9.3 billion allows an additional production of 3400m3/ day.
Following the city of Tafiré, on Saturday July 20, 2019, several localities in the country saw their water tower inaugurated:
- Kamessela in the department of TOUBA by the Minister Moussa SANOGO in charge of the Budget and the State Portfolio,
-Bonikro in the department of DJEKANOU by the Minister Raymonde GOUDOU COFFIE Minister for the Modernization of the Administration and the Innovation of the Public Service,
-Belleville in the department of ZOUKOUGBE by Minister Aimée, Secretary of State to the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice and Human Rights, in charge of Human Rights,
-Vonkoro, Niandegue and Panzarani in the department of BOUNA by the Minister Siaka OUATTARA Secretary of State in charge of Civic Service.
This vast project comes one month after the launch of the repair, rehabilitation and maintenance project for 21,000 human-powered pumps in rural areas.
This inauguration was an opportunity for the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Minister of the Budget and State Portfolio to reaffirm the will of the President of the Republic to respect all his commitments to the Ivorian populations.
