The Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly proceeded this Thursday, December 12, 2019 to the laying of the first stone of the construction and equipment works of a 5000m3 water tower on a 30m tower in Abobo -Avocatier within the town hall of Abobo.
This work, the cost of which is estimated at 5.250 billion CFA Francs, is part of the Côte d'Ivoire / Spain debt conversion program. The total amount of this program is 14.615 billion FCFA.
The whole of this program entirely devoted to the municipality of Abobo, will allow the improvement of the drinking water supply in the municipality of Abobo.
The head of government asked the various actors of the project to respect the execution deadlines according to the specifications.
The Minister of Supervision Laurent TCHAGBA, Minister of Hydraulics noted that these works will have a positive impact because they will serve the entire population of Abobo.
According to the Spanish Ambassador, His Excellency Ricardo Lopez, this partnership is the result of good cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and Spain.
It is also the birth of several partnerships.
The first Magistrate of the Commune, Mayor Hamed Bakayoko expressed his gratitude for the choice of his commune.
This ceremony saw the presence of two (2) other members of the government, Mrs. Kandia CAMARA, Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, and Mr. DANHO Paulin, Minister of Sports.
